Several playlists on the same TV

One device can hold several playlists. You add them from the “My playlist” section of the site, using the device ID and code shown by the app, then switch between them in the app’s settings. If the playlist you pick does not respond, the app goes back to the previous one on its own.

Adding a playlist

  1. From a computer or phone, open the “My playlist” section of the site.
  2. Enter the device ID and the code shown by the app.
  3. Choose the format — media server or playlist link (M3U) — fill in the fields, then save.
  4. The new playlist is added to the existing ones: nothing is replaced.

Switching playlists

In the app’s settings, the playlists section lists every playlist on the device and marks the one in use. Select another to activate it: the app loads its catalogue and takes you back to the home screen.

You can also set one as the default: it is the one that opens at start-up.

If the chosen playlist does not respond

An expired access or a server that is down no longer leaves you facing a blank screen: the app checks that the new playlist responds, and if not, goes back automatically to the one you were leaving, telling you so on screen.

If a playlist stops responding altogether, its access is what to check with your provider: a player cannot revive an access that has run out.

Frequently asked questions

How many playlists can a device hold?

Several. The licence covers the device, not the number of playlists: adding one does not require a new licence.

Can I use the same playlist on two TVs?

As far as the player is concerned, yes: just add it on each. But many accesses limit how many devices can be connected at once; beyond that, the stream cuts out on one of them.

Does switching playlists erase my favourites?

No. Favourites are not erased when you switch playlists.
