The code on your screen: how to activate your device
On first launch, RSKTV Player Pro displays your device ID along with a code, then contacts the activation server. The seven-day trial starts automatically, once per device, with no card required. The code lets you attach a playlist to that specific device from a computer or phone, so you never have to type server credentials with a remote control.
What the device ID and the code are for
The device ID (often the MAC address) is what tells your TV apart from every other one. The licence applies to it: one activation covers one device.
The code is temporary. It proves that whoever is adding a playlist from another screen is genuinely in front of the TV. That is what spares you typing a server address and password with arrow keys.
Adding your playlist from a computer or phone
- Open the “My playlist” section of the official site on your computer or phone.
- Enter the device ID shown on the TV, then the code displayed on screen.
- Pick your source type: Xtream (server address, username, password) or M3U (playlist link).
- Save. The playlist is now attached to that device.
How long the trial lasts
Seven days, all features included, no card required, once per device. After that the device needs activating to carry on: a twelve-month licence or a one-off purchase.
What you pay for is the player licence. No content is included in any form: the playlists remain yours.
The code does not work
- The code expired: it is deliberately short-lived. Reopen the app to get a fresh one.
- Typo: codes avoid ambiguous characters, but check the classic 0/O and 1/I confusions.
- Wrong device: with several TVs, make sure you use the ID shown on the one you are setting up.
- No network: activation needs an outbound connection. A filtering corporate or hotel network can block it.
Frequently asked questions
Does the trial unlock channels?
No. The trial unlocks the player’s features. RSKTV Player Pro does not provide, host or resell any content: you bring your own playlists.
Can one licence cover two TVs?
No, one activation covers one device. A second TV needs a second activation.
What if I replace my TV?
The device ID changes, so the activation does not follow automatically. Support can transfer your licence to the new device: that transfer is possible once per licence.
