Install RSKTV Player Pro on a Samsung TV
On Samsung, installation happens through the app store built into the TV — no USB stick, no file handling. You open the Apps panel, search for the app, install it. Activation follows at first launch: the screen shows a device ID and a code that you enter on this site from your phone.
RSKTV Player Pro is not yet published on the Samsung TV App Store. This page describes the installation and activation process as it will work. It will be updated with the direct link as soon as the listing goes live.
What you need
- A Samsung TV running Tizen 4.0 or later, which in practice means 2018 models and newer.
- An internet connection on the TV — Wi-Fi works, Ethernet is safer for live streams.
- A Samsung account signed in on the TV: the app store asks for it.
- Your own playlist, in Xtream or M3U format. It is not supplied to you.
Installing, step by step
- On the remote, press Home (the house icon).
- Open the Apps panel.
- Select the search icon, top right.
- Type RSKTV and confirm.
- Open the listing, then Install.
- When it finishes, choose Open — or find the app in your installed apps.
Activation, once per device
- On first launch the app shows your device ID and a code, then contacts the activation server.
- The seven-day trial starts automatically, once per device, with no card required.
- From a computer or phone, open the “My playlist” section of the site, enter the ID and the code, then save your playlist — Xtream or M3U.
- Back in front of the screen, the playlist is already there: nothing to type with the remote.
If the app does not show up in search
- The TV’s region. The store catalogue depends on the country set on the device. An app published in one country does not appear elsewhere.
- The model is too old. Below Tizen 4.0, the store does not offer apps built for newer versions.
- The store is stale. A full restart of the TV — not standby — refreshes the catalogue.
Why we do not recommend USB installation
Some guides explain how to side-load an app from a USB stick by turning on a developer mode. That is a poor idea on a living-room TV: developer mode stays on, the app no longer updates itself, and it often disappears at the first system update.
Installing from the built-in store has none of these problems. It is the only route we document.
Frequently asked questions
Does installing give access to channels?
No. RSKTV Player Pro is a player: no channels, no films, no content subscription is provided, hosted, resold or suggested. You bring your own playlists and remain solely responsible for where they come from and whether they are lawful.
Do I have to pay before trying it?
No. The seven-day trial starts on its own at first launch, with no card required, once per device.
Can I use the same account on several devices?
The licence covers one device: a second screen needs a second licence. If you replace your device, however, support can transfer the licence to the new one — once per licence.
My Samsung TV is from 2016 — is it supported?
No. Below Tizen 4.0 — models before 2018 — the store cannot offer the app. An external box remains an option.
Seven-day trial, no card required.
