Install RSKTV Player Pro on Android TV and Google TV
On both Android TV and Google TV, installation goes through the device’s Google Play Store. You can also start the install remotely from the Play Store on your phone, which avoids typing on an on-screen keyboard.
RSKTV Player Pro is not yet published on the Google Play Store. This page describes the installation and activation process as it will work. It will be updated with the direct link as soon as the listing goes live.
What you need
- A TV or box running Android TV or Google TV (Nvidia Shield, Chromecast with Google TV, Xiaomi, Philips, Sony, TCL…).
- A Google account signed in on the device.
- Your own playlist, in Xtream or M3U format.
Installing from the TV
- Open the Play Store from the home screen.
- Use search — the magnifier icon — and type RSKTV. Voice search, if your remote has a microphone, is markedly quicker.
- Open the listing, then Install.
- Launch the app from the apps row.
Installing remotely, from your phone
- On your phone, open the Play Store with the same Google account as the TV.
- Search for RSKTV Player Pro.
- On the listing, tap Install, then pick your TV from the device list.
- The install starts on the TV without typing anything on it.
Activation, once per device
- On first launch the app shows your device ID and a code, then contacts the activation server.
- The seven-day trial starts automatically, once per device, with no card required.
- From a computer or phone, open the “My playlist” section of the site, enter the ID and the code, then save your playlist — Xtream or M3U.
- Back in front of the screen, the playlist is already there: nothing to type with the remote.
Android TV versus Google TV
Google TV is an interface laid over Android TV: the underlying system is the same and the Play Store behaves identically. An Android TV-compatible app installs on both. Only the home screen presentation differs.
Frequently asked questions
Does installing give access to channels?
No. RSKTV Player Pro is a player: no channels, no films, no content subscription is provided, hosted, resold or suggested. You bring your own playlists and remain solely responsible for where they come from and whether they are lawful.
Do I have to pay before trying it?
No. The seven-day trial starts on its own at first launch, with no card required, once per device.
Can I use the same account on several devices?
The licence covers one device: a second screen needs a second licence. If you replace your device, however, support can transfer the licence to the new one — once per licence.
Seven-day trial, no card required.
